I. Definition:
Industrial hydrochloric acid is prepared by dissolving the HCl (which is formulated by Cl2, H2 combustion method) gas in water. During the reaction, the pipe conveying the Cl2, HCl gas, and reaction vessel are made of iron, although these iron utensil wares have conducted preservative treatment, it is still possible for FeCl3 generated by the reaction of micro-Fe to mix with HCl, thus the hydrochloric acid representing yellow.
